The phone is acting up

Sunday, July 2nd, 2006

Okay, for some reason my Sony Ericsson T610 has decided on acting up. I’m even unable to enter the PIN to log in, as the keyboard seems to be completely messed up.

For some reason I think it is water-related, maybe I’ve written one too many text-messages while just getting out of the shower, maybe I have managed to spill water on it otherwise. My technical instinct says water anyways.

Of course Kenneth is happy about this, as he sells cellphones.

I don’t use anything but a cellphone, and I never will again probably, there is no use mixing a landline and a cell. But in a situation like this I’m glad I have multiple cellphones. I ordinarily keep the other one, a Nokia with a twin SIM, in the car for the handsfree, but seems like I will be using it for backup at least for the rest of the day untill the stores opens tomorrow. Who knows, maybe the other one works by then, I haven’t had problems with it before, so it could be temporary. But then again it has become some years by now.

Update
A little time and some re-charging of the phone and it started working again.

Congratulations Portugal

I’m generally not the most sports interested person, but there are some exceptions. One is when Barcelona is showing off, the other is when any other combination of teams offer good football of high quality and speed.

Portugal just beat England in the quarter final, in a penalty shootout, after exactly display of such. The Portugese goalkeeper, Ricardo, which I’m possibly especially interested in myself as I was a goalkeeper myself for more than a decade displayed that he really does belong in the world championship, he did an exceptional job.

Congratulations, it will be fun to watch Portugal in the semi-final.
